The bituminous concrete production plants of the company have acquired the production process control certificates attesting that empirical specification asphalt concrete (AC), for top layers, bonding layers and base layers, and stone mastic asphalt (SMA) produced by Lemminkainen Latvija SIA complies with the requirements of standards LVS EN 13108-1:2006 and LVS EN 13108-5:2006.

The Year Award of newspaper Autoceļu Avīze is a project implemented by the editorial board of the newspaper and its editorial staff, which is represented by state joint-stock company Latvijas Valsts ceļi (Latvian State Roads), union Latvijas ceļu būvētājs, the Latvia Road Association, the Association of Transport Construction Engineers, and joint-stock company Latvijas autoceļu uzturētājs, in order to evaluate the achievements of the previous year and to express public appreciation to those who have contributed the highest quality work in road sector and have achieved the best results. Evaluation was made by independent experts invited by newspaper Autoceļu Avīzes representing Latvia and Lithuania. The Year Award was granted in 5 different nominations. The ceremony event was attended by the Minister of Transport, Uldis Augulis, management of Latvian State Roads, and managers of associations and companies of the road sector. Lemminkainen Latvija, SIA, won the 1st prize in its group (scope of work under LVL 500,000) in nomination “Highest quality performance in paved road construction” and 2nd place in the nomination object of the year - “P36 Rezekne-Gulbene stage 56.47. -65.60. Kapūne km - turn to Lubāna”
